ABOUT

At OLGC Fun Camp we are focused on integrating STREAM concepts into a fun learning environment! Through our faith, collaborative games, fine arts, crafts, and science campers will learn new problem solving strategies, enhance their communication skills, and better their understanding of the world around them.

Join Mrs. A Miller, Mrs. K Miller, Mrs. Sudduth and Mrs. Danielli as we create art, discover science and technology, explore the world around us, and learn new games! We will have a special focus this year on the characteristics that make us each unique children of God, with daily prayer and special recognition awards.

MEET OUR TEAM

Kayla Miller - Crafts and Sports Guru - This is my fourth year teaching at OLGC as a Kindergarten Teacher. Some of you may  know me as Miss Petrella, but I am thrilled to be Mrs. Miller.  I will bring all of the crafts and creativity from my classroom to the campers. I played division 2 soccer in college and I am from Deep Creek Lake, Maryland. I am very competitive when it comes to sports or any games that are played. I am also a Penguins, Steelers, and Pirate fan!! I love hiking, kayaking, working out and being with my friends and family!

Amanda Miller - Art and Design Dynamo - I'm in my thirteenth year as the luckiest person in the world!  I get to come to work everyday to my favorite place, with my favorite people to teach about my favorite things.  I'm excited to share even more of my favorite artsy ideas to the summer campers!

Samantha Danielli -Science and Engineering Maestro - This is my ninth year teaching at OLGC.  I  love being able to see the students get their hands into science through the STREAM activities we do in the classroom, during after-school activities, and  with the campers during summer camp. I continue my explorations outside of the classroom with baking, hiking through the woods, photography and time with loved ones, especially my new little baby girl.

Carrie Sudduth - Fun and Games Captain - OLGC K-8 PE teacher for 16 years and ready to have a great time energizing the campers. I hail from southern Virginia and graduated from Radford University with a degree in Exercise Sport and Health Education. I have a 7 year old son that keeps me busy and always active. I love to be outside with my family; hiking and exploring nature.
